Services

Plumbing marketing services, sorted by the problem they solve

Plumbing.Agency is the done-for-you marketing team for Canadian plumbing companies that are too busy on the tools to run their own. We handle local search and your Google Business Profile, paid search and Local Services Ads, a phone-first website with call tracking, reviews and seasonal campaigns. Everything is measured against one question: did it put a paying job on your schedule?

We market plumbing companies. We don't do plumbing. Nobody here will show up with a torch or a drain snake, and we won't tell you how a code applies to your work. That's your licence and your expertise. Ours is making sure the right homeowner, property manager or builder finds you first and picks up the phone.

Who we build for

The short answer: owner-operated and growing plumbing companies with roughly one to fifteen trucks. Most do residential service and repair, water heaters and fixtures, and some light-commercial work on the side.

You'll recognise the problems we're hired to fix:

  • Calls that ring out while the whole crew is under a sink, and nobody knows how many were lost.
  • Ad spend that looks busy in a dashboard but can't be traced to a single invoice.
  • A competitor with three times your reviews sitting above you in the map results.
  • A website that loads slowly on a phone and buries the number under a stock photo.
  • Slow weeks in late summer, then more emergency calls in a cold snap than you can handle.

If those sound familiar, the rest of this site shows how we'd tackle each one. If you mainly need owner-level advice on pricing, hiring or systems rather than someone to run campaigns, our sister practice plumber.consulting is the better fit.

What we run for you

The answer is the whole customer-acquisition side of the business, so you don't have to coordinate four vendors. Each piece has its own page with deliverables, timelines and how we measure it:

Proof, honestly labelled

We don't have plumbing case studies to show yet, so everything below is results from our HVAC work. HVAC and plumbing share the same buyer behaviour: urgent searches, map-pack decisions and phone calls. That's why the method carries over, even though the numbers belong to other businesses.

The results page explains what each project did and which parts transfer to a plumbing company.

A worked number to keep in your head

The one figure we run plumbing marketing on is cost per booked job. Here's an illustration, not a client result. Say you spend $3,000 in a month on ads and management for drain and fixture calls, and that brings 60 calls. Of those, 38 are real customers, and your office books 24 of them. Your cost per booked job is $3,000 ÷ 24 = $125.

If your average ticket on those jobs is around $480, that's a healthy ratio. If you book only 12 because half the calls went to voicemail, the same spend costs $250 a job and looks like the ads failed. Usually the problem was call handling. Our cost-per-booked-job guide walks through the full calculation.

Across Canada, with BC in depth

We work with plumbing companies in all ten provinces and the three territories, and the areas hub covers what differs in each: codes, permit bodies, climate and tax. British Columbia gets the most detail because it's home. The Lower Mainland's click costs, Vancouver Island's island logistics and the North's long drives each call for a different plan. The City of Vancouver also runs its own building bylaw rather than the provincial codes.

Who's behind it

Plumbing.Agency is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. It's Canadian, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. Ali started his first digital agency in 2007, which gives him 17+ years in the work, and the 150+ live HVAC websites he has built are where most of our methods were tested. Our parent practice for trades businesses is Trades.Agency. Read more on the about page, or see plans and pricing.

You can reach us by phone, text or email. Texting is welcome, and a two-line message is plenty to get started. We meet online by video call or in person, whichever suits you.

How it works

  1. Audit what you already have

We look at your Google Business Profile, website, ad accounts and last 90 days of calls, then show you where booked jobs are leaking.

  2. Agree on one number

Together we set a target cost per booked job by job type, so every campaign is judged on work that reaches your board.

  3. Start the conversation

Tell us your service area and the jobs you want more of. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a plumbing company?

No. Plumbing.Agency is a marketing and consulting team for plumbing businesses. We don't install, repair or service anything, and we don't give code or compliance advice. Our job is getting your phone to ring with the right work.

What does it cost?

Our Growth plan is $1,999 a month on month-to-month terms, or $1,499 a month if you pay annually; tax is added as GST/HST based on your province (GST and QST in Quebec). Ad spend is separate and paid to the platforms. The pricing page explains the three plans.

Do you have plumbing case studies?

Not yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our published proof is results from our HVAC work, such as Roma Heating & Cooling's 400% organic traffic growth in 12 months. The same methods apply to plumbing, and we report your own numbers monthly.

Can you get us into Local Services Ads?

We can check eligibility for your categories and area, help you prepare the profile and paperwork, and manage the account once you're live. Google decides who qualifies, and you complete the verification steps yourself.

Do you work outside BC?

Yes. We work with plumbing companies in every province and territory, online by video call or in person. BC gets extra depth because we're based in Vancouver and know its regions well.

Who owns the website and ad accounts?

You do. Accounts are set up in your company's name, with us added as a manager, and your website and call data stay yours if you ever leave.
